How do I describe the swing of an interior door?
Name the room you are viewing the door from. For a single prehung unit, the order builder’s diagrams help select the hinge side and whether the door opens toward or away from that room.
Can a replacement slab be prepared for my existing frame?
Send the exact slab measurements, hinge pattern, lock preparation and photographs or a drawing of the existing frame. DoorCrafters reviews the preparation and proposed fit before quoting; do not assume an existing pattern matches a standard unit.
